December 12, 2020
1 MILE-8 AM - 5K/10K-9 AM
City Park, Denver
Bah! Humbug! … It’s going to be a ‘Double Dickens’ of a Christmas season this year! The Scramblin’ Scrooge 1M/5K/10K & Youth Fun Run is the 2nd of 7 of the series’ holiday-themed events.
We all know there’s nothing like a good run to shake out the gloom and get ourselves in the spirit of the season! So we’ll run out all the season stress and hustle and bustle at the Scramblin’ Scrooge and then celebrate in earnest with the Original Dickens Carolers, Jolly Ol’ St. Nick and yes, Scrooge himself at the Christmas Carol Classic the following weekend.
This event is professionally timed with finisher and awards medals (scoring also counts towards series medals), tech t-shirts and more! Don’t forget to wear your ugliest sweater or favorite holiday garb .. we dare you to dress as the ol’ miser, himself, and capture the award for the best worst humbug of the lot!
Here are your options – Each registration comes with a traditionally awesome, seasonal, authentic finisher medal and a really nice, comfy tech t-shirt.
**NOTE: When registering with a ‘Double’ selection (both Scrooge & Christmas Carol), you are automatically registered for both events. You will not receive a second confirmation. The ‘Double’ designation automatically registers you for both events.
1) Register for the 1M, 5K or 10K – Single Race at Single Event
2) Daily Double Two Races at Single Event (1M 8am and 5K or 10K 9am at one event)
3) Christmas Double (1M, 5K or 10K at both Scrooge and Christmas Carol)
4) Double Dickens (Daily Double at Both Scrooge and Christmas Carol)
So join us at the Scramblin’ Scrooge as we chase the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future and then run the traditional Christmas Carol Classic!
Scrooge and Christmas Carol are the 2nd and 3rd events in the City Park Winter Running Series!
