For participants of all levels – for families, friends and colleagues, corporate, church and school groups … the Christmas Carol Classic 1M/5K/10K & Tiny Tim Fun Run is THE holiday celebration event of the season! Come out and earn your finisher and awards medals, tech t-shirts, hot chocolate, and much, much more! And be prepared to be inspired as the Original Dickens Carolers grace the plaza at City Park in full Dickensian costume, blending phenomenal voices that ring with authenticity the true spirit of the season. Pets and strollers allowed; just the usual rules 😉 (courteous of others, leashed sociable pets, strollers to the rear and be super careful — it’s a crowded course with 2-way traffic).
New this year – make it a Double Dickens of a Christmas Run Season! Earn your Double Dickens Christmas medals and awards – see the Doubles registration opportunities below!
Join the Original Dickens Carolers, Jolly Ol’ St. Nick, all of our Great Vendors and a wonderful community for a great run, walk, sprint or stroll for Denver Children’s Home! Denver Children’s Home has been restoring hope and health to traumatized children and families for more than 130 years. In support of their phenomenal work in our community, we encourage you to explore one of the giving options below. And if you see the Denver Children’s Home Youth Running Team out there on the course, make sure to give them the encouragement they deserve!

Here are your options – and you can register for the doubles on either event website. Each registration comes with a traditionally awesome, seasonal, authentic finisher medal and a really nice, comfy tech t-shirt. The Daily Double, Christmas Double and Double Dickens just get increasingly a little more awesome 🙂
1) Register for the 1M, 5K or 10K – Single Race at Single Event
2) Daily Double Two Races at Single Event (1M 8am and 5K or 10K 9am at one event)
3) Christmas Double (1M, 5K or 10K at both Scrooge & Christmas Carol)
4) Double Dickens (Daily Double at Both Scrooge & Christmas Carol)
So join us at the Scramblin’ Scrooge on December 15 as we chase the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future and then run the traditional Christmas Carol Classic on the 22nd, where you will receive the special edition Doubles t-shirt and medal (in place of the standard Christmas Carol shirt and medal – and don’t forget to upgrade to a long-sleeve shirt in the checkout process!).
Scrooge and Christmas Carol are the 2nd and 3rd events in the City Park Winter Running Series! Participate in 3 of the 7 series events and qualify for medals, the finale party, drawings for Stapleton Run Series and much, much more!
